It's one of the largest carnivals in Minneapolis, and you won't want to miss it! This year's Windom Park Carnival, a collaborative effort of Windom Park Citizens in Action, Pillsbury School and Minneapolis Park and Rec, is Friday, May 31, 2013, 5-8 p.m. at Windom Park (corner of Johnson and Lowry; in case of rain, we'll move into the school/park building). You'll find something for all ages and tastes: live music, local food, more than 25 games, bingo and more. See you there! Also, if you'd like to volunteer for planning or on the day of the carnival, please contact us at (612) 788-2192. WPCiA receives a portion of the proceeds from this event based on the number of volunteers participating. Funds from this event help WPCiA support programs such as the annual Bunny Party and Halloween Party at the park and other neighborhood functions. |
